Senior High

Once youth have completed Confirmation they join the Senior High Class. They meet on the third floor and use a variety of materials including Bible Studies, Movie Studies and Hot Button Topics. They are taught by Melinda Thomas and Joe Kirk.  Some days a trip to the local coffee shop is the plan!

Adult Classes

Adults have two class choices.

Kevan’s ABC’s-Approaching the Bible Creatively-thinking aloud allowed, meets in the Chapel on the second floor and is taught by Rev. Franklin.

Finding Joy-uses The Book of Joy, an inspiring book based on a meeting between the Dalai Lama & Archbishop Desmond Tutu.   The sessions are facilitated by Herb Broda and Janet Burkhart and are interactive and joyous as they explore obstacles to joy as well as the essential
ingredients for a joy-filled life.  The book is available, but not necessary to have a copy.

Faith Formation classes for all ages are offered from 10:45-11:45.
Our preschool through elementary children meet on the second floor in the Pathfinders class.  They are taught by our Assistant Pastor, Leila Jindra and use the Sparkhouse Whirl lectionary based curriculum. https://www.wearesparkhouse.org/store/category/286739/Whirl

Nursery     Children are always welcome in worship but for those who prefer, Nursery care is available for birth through kindergarten age children during our 9:30 service.  Our nursery is located on the second floor and is staffed by two church employed nursery attendants, Alexis Glassburn and Yulia Allison.  The attendants have been employed with us over a year and have undergone background checks.  Our children are always excited to be greeted by the same familiar face each week!

Junior High and Confirmation

Our middle school students have Confirmation class to prepare them for church membership.  They meet each Sunday on the third floor with Melissa Blyth, Director of Christian Education, and teacher, Cindy Henshaw.  They also meet once a month with their mentors during Faith Formation Hour and once a month with Rev. Franklin from noon-1:00pm.

A midweek children’s program called CAT (Children’s Art at Trinity) meets for two 10 week sessions on Wednesdays from 4:30-7:00.  Children participate in singing, drumming, and visual arts.  Social skills are developed through dinner time together.
